The MAVA panel factory: from sheet metal to factory test
NAD's electrical panels are built at the MAVA Electrical & Control Industries factory in Shams Abad industrial town.
A short history
MAVA is the panel factory of Teva Petro Tavan Technical and Engineering Company and began in 2010 (1389) by building site-equipment panels for Phase 13 of the Assaluyeh project. From 2010 to 2017 it worked with manual sheet-metal tools, a manual electrostatic powder-coating oven line and assembly equipment for distribution and control panels. In 2017 (1396) it equipped the factory with automatic machines (laser cutting, CNC punching, welding), and in 2023 (1402) it expanded into a new factory in Shams Abad industrial town with fully mechanised manufacturing, under independent management.

How a panel is made
- Laser cutting and CNC punching
Sheets are cut and punched to the manufacturing drawing on laser-cutting and pneumatic CNC punching machines. - CNC bending
After cutting, the sheets are bent on CNC press brakes. - Welding
Welding is done by laser and CO2 welding, and the enclosure leaves the metal line ready. - Washing and degreasing
The enclosure is degreased in washing tanks to secure paint quality. - Electrostatic powder coating
After washing, the enclosure goes through the powder-coating line and then to the assembly hall. - Assembly, busbar and wiring
In the assembly hall, pneumatic tools, busbar machines, assembly benches and label printers are used to place equipment and do busbar work and wiring. - Factory test and quality control
The finished product goes to quality control for factory tests and release for dispatch.

Frequently asked questions
What is NAD's role?
NAD is the sales partner of MAVA: quotes, reviewing drawings and specifications, and coordinating supply. The panels are built at the MAVA factory.
Can I visit the factory?
To arrange a visit or a factory test, ask through the quote form or contact us.
Are these panels type-tested?
The Siemens-type series (8PT and ALPHA) are built on type-tested drawings; the MAVA-design panel is, per the catalogue, not type-tested. Each product page has the details.
