Quick guide

Use the workflow from left to right. Enter your design conditions first, then define zones and envelope properties, calculate the 24-hour peak, review the load breakdown, and finally select equipment.
  1. Project: choose the location and indoor/outdoor design conditions.
  2. Zones: enter floor area, height, occupants, windows, and envelope values.
  3. Loads: run the 24-hour design-day calculation and inspect the peak hour.
  4. Equipment: compare preliminary capacity matches and airflow.
  5. Report: print/save the engineering summary and JSON project data.

Design Assistant

Project & design basis

This version uses a transparent component heat-balance model and a 24-hour design-day simulation. It is an engineering-development tool, not a certified ASHRAE Standard 183 implementation.

HVAC System Designer PRELIMINARY
