Black Marquina Marble

Black Marquina Marble

Deep black marble with fine white veining.

Black Marquina is about contrast: a near-solid black base cut through with fine, sharp white veins, finished to a mirror polish that makes the pattern pop under any lighting. It's a stone people specify when they want a surface to read as deliberate and premium — reception counters, bar tops and accent walls where a small area still needs to make a strong impression. As with any marble, it is softer and more porous than granite — it benefits from sealing and is prone to etching from acidic substances, which is why it suits feature walls, flooring, and lower-acid-exposure surfaces better than a heavily-used kitchen prep counter, though it remains a common and manageable choice there with routine sealing.
