Office Chair Specification Checklist for B2B Procurement

A professional office-chair quotation should make it possible to compare models on more than appearance. Before approving a B2B order, ask for the relevant technical and commercial information for the intended application.

Core specification

Record the chair category, model, dimensions, seat height range, backrest type, armrest configuration and base construction where available.

Mechanism and adjustment

Identify the mechanism type and which adjustments are actually included: height, recline, tilt tension, seat depth, lumbar support or armrest adjustment. Do not assume an adjustment exists because a product photograph suggests it.

Materials and finish

Specify upholstery material, frame and base material, caster type and available finishes. For a project, consistency across the selected models can be more important than choosing the lowest individual unit price.

Commercial and delivery information

Include quantity, delivery location, required date, packaging requirements, warranty terms when applicable and any installation or assembly requirements. These details allow suppliers to prepare a more realistic project quotation.

NAD can use this information to compare suitable chair categories and coordinate a B2B sourcing request.
