Microsilica Slurry Admixture

Microsilica Slurry Admixture

Boosts strength and cuts permeability in demanding concrete.

This microsilica-based slurry admixture is used where concrete needs to perform under real long-term stress — dams, tunnels and marine structures exposed to water, chloride and sulphate attack. Mixed into the batch, it densifies the cement matrix, which raises strength and cuts the concrete's permeability, extending its service life in exactly the conditions where ordinary concrete fails early. Typically specified alongside ASTM C1240 microsilica standards, at dosage rates set by the project's mix design rather than a fixed ratio.
